BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (July 24, 2024)-----The Southeastern Conference on Wednesday announced an agreement with PitchCom® to provide technology for on-the-field communication between pitchers, catchers and coaches for all 16 SEC baseball programs beginning with the 2025 season.
The agreement marks a significant step forward in the SEC’s commitment to utilize cutting-edge technology to improve the game for players, coaches, and fans alike and ensuring fair competition between its member schools.
PitchCom®’s advanced system, recognized for its innovation and effectiveness, enables reliable, seamless, secure, and instantaneous communication between pitchers, catchers, and coaches. The use of a single communication system throughout the SEC will ensure integrity and conformity throughout the Conference.
